YMCA – Balarama Painting Competition
VENUE: THE EMIRATES NATIONAL SCHOOL, SHARJAH
DAY & DATE: FRIDAY 13TH FEB 2015
TIME: 2 PM TO 4 PM
Registration Time: 1 pm to 1.45 pm
1. This contest is open to YMCA Sharjah member’s children (School going student in UAE)
2. Registration is accepted directly to YMCA Sharjah.
3. There are four categories based on their age group (a) Sub-Junior: 5-7 years (b) Juniors: 7-9 years, (c) Sub Seniors: 10-12 years, (d) Seniors: 13 – 15 years.
4. Four (10) Participants, boys and girls separately are allowed to participate in each group. Sub juniors and juniors shall use Crayons or Colour Pencils. Sub seniors and seniors may use Water Colour Pencils or Pencil colours.
5. Topics of different categories are (a) Sub-Junior: Colouring the given picture. (b) Juniors, Sub-Seniors, and seniors: Themes will be given half hour before the commencement of the competition.
6. Participants should report at least 15 minutes before the Competition Starts.
7. Registration fee is Dhs.10/-.
8. Participants should bring their School I.D Card as a proof for registration.
9. Drawing sheet shall be provided by the organizers at the venue. Water colour sheet may also be supplied for water colouring. Items like crayons, pencil, colour pencil, water colour etc. should be brought by the participants.
10. Price / Trophies /Medals will be awarded to the winners of First and Second and Third positions in each category and School Trophy to the school that scores maximum points. Participation Certificate will also be distributed later through the concerned schools.
11. Judges decision is final. No appeal will be entertained.
12. Announcement of result and prize distribution will be followed by the competitions on the same day.
13. Expected time of completion of the whole programme is around 6p.m on the same day. School authorities/Parents may take necessary arrangements to participate till the end of the programme.
